I wanna focus on one social media platform to send DMs with CPA links...which platform do you recommend?
Do I need like antidetect browser and proxies? How would you go about doing this?
Please point me in the right direction. I have like no budget but free time on the weekends...

Considering your limited budget, I'd recommend starting with TikTok or Instagram, as they have a large user base and relatively lenient DM policies. You can begin by creating a personal account and engaging with your target audience to build trust before sharing CPA links. As for antidetect browsers and proxies, they can be useful for avoiding account suspensions, but you can also start by using a VPN and a browser like Brave or Firefox with decent privacy settings. Since you have free time on the weekends, you can focus on building your account and creating content to attract followers.

Thank you so much for your reply. It is really helpful. I think I will go with TikTok but locally because I read that it's difficult to target USA people. Do you know how to configure Brave or Firefox for privacy?

IG is the easiest to start with and you can just use your normal phone and send a few clean DMs on weekends, then if it actually starts getting clicks and you want to push more you might look at cheap proxies or antidetect later.

IG is the most popular way that everyone uses commonly for DM. However, you can try another way, like Telegram, by joining channels as well as Reddit

I found that targeting specific regions can increase engagement by up to 30% due to more relevant content. Configuring Brave or Firefox for privacy involves enabling features like tracker blocking, fingerprinting protection, and HTTPS everywhere, which can be done in the browser settings. For instance, in Brave, you can go to Settings > Shields > Tracker blocking and select the "Aggressive" option. On TikTok, I also recommend using a mix of 70% engaging content and 30% promotional content to avoid account suspension, and to post at least 3 times a week to keep the audience active. Additionally, using a VPN can help mask IP addresses, but it's essential to choose a reputable provider to avoid IP leaks.

I would recommend TikTok; in general, there’s no need to spend a larger budget. However, it would be better to refine the funnel and additionally use Telegram. Simply spamming a CPA link on TikTok is unlikely to bring significant results.

If you’re planning to send CPA links in DMs, choosing one platform is fine, but how you run your accounts matters more than the platform itself. On Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, accounts get flagged when many profiles share the same fingerprints, IPs, or browser environment.

You can start without tools, but to keep accounts stable and avoid bans it really helps to use an anti-detect browser with consistent proxies so each account looks like it belongs to a real, separate user. That kind of setup reduces linking between accounts and lowers the chances of reviews. Spend your free time learning about profile isolation and consistent setups first — that’s the foundation before scaling any outreach.

If you want to use Instagram, focus on building a niche page first and warming up conversations naturally instead of dropping links right away. Long-term, a simple funnel (content → profile → landing page) is usually more stable than cold DMs.

If you’re doing it long term, focus on one platform where your niche is active and build real engagement first. Cold DMs with CPA links usually get ignored or flagged. You don’t need antidetect browsers or proxies, just stay within platform rules and focus on genuine conversations and value.
