When using ScrapeBox, what kind of proxies are best for the following:
Posting (I know, private - but specifically anonymous, high anon, elite and why?)
    Checking PR
    Checking Google Indexed
Grabbing emails from URLs / Grabbing comments from URLs
Various Addons (such as Alive Check, Blog Analyzer, Link Extractor, Outbound Link Checker, etc.)

I'd really appreciate an explanation of what type of proxies to use for these functions and if possible the reason(s) why.

I recommend http, they can be semi dedicated if they are from a good company or get dedicated proxies.

I will send you a few to test and see.

the common way has always been 10/20 private proxiesfor posting.
and tons of public proxies for scraping. but public proxies
for url scraping are only as good as the sources you get
them from and how many people use them.

i have 500+ people using my service for google url
scraping proxies. and in 2 yrs ive never had anyone
ask for a refund. have a read of my service.

scrapebox / scrapejet url scraping proxies

the free proxies can and will work. But different applications call for different needs.

Recently I switched to Squid proxies. The rate is hella affordable. They have a bh code I think. Look it up. So its cheaper for BHW members.
I use their proxies with Scrapebox, SEnuke and a few other bots and never had a problem.

Just remember to activate your proxies.. :)

I appreciate the insight. Seems that what I already knew was confirmed ;) Use private proxies for posting.

Proxygo, I've used your services in the past and have found them to be professional and useful. However, I've found that patiently waiting for SB to scrape public proxies results in usually ~300 working and google-tested proxies that do their job for 24 hours, usually, but sometimes less and sometimes more. Not long ago it seemed to have trouble properly testing proxies that should have worked, but that seems to have resolved itself. Either way, this rate is good enough for me.

In reality, I'm just looking to find out what TYPE of proxies are best used for the many different SB functions -- I already have my preferred sources for finding proxies (public, private, http, socks, etc.), but I should have figured I'd be solicited on BHW

I get my private proxies from a seller here on the forums, proxyblaze.

So far they have much better results/speed/lifespan than anywhere else i've ordered from, I also use scrapebox.

Not trying to plug them, Don't really even know them, just know the proxies work well so far.

I dont use specifics, i scrape/post and if not all posted i will again scrape/post and than a 3rd scrape/post. this works out for me pretty well. But i do not use scrapebox for huge tasks like most others.. i have a guy for that :)

Interesting. I've found that when working with smaller URL lists (< 1000), using the SB-scraped proxies results in sometimes 0 successful posts. This could be a result of connections/time outs, but I have fiddled with these a bit and have not noticed a difference. That said, I also have not attempted to try those proxies again for posting when the first run was so terrible - mainly because I have no faith that they will work the second time, but also because I'm trying to develop AA lists, and trying more than once / waiting a significant amount of time to post again before checking links seems to interfere with the accuracy of checking live links for AA status. I also have not tried using SB-scraped proxies for very large URL lists (~100K) because I assume they'll just fail me from the get go, or at least halfway through such a large list.

I use SOCKS proxy, mainly because I have set up my private proxy server, I'm the only one using those proxy since the IP's that I have are attached to my server.
Is better yo use high anon proxy because if the other server can see your proxy you will get in the situation when you make 20 connection per second to the server and be sure that you will be block, I'm talking about the server on witch the website is hosted since you may be in the situation when you have a lot of urls from the same domain on a list. So to post on those url you will access only one server and when it will see many connection in a short period of time will block you. Second you may also see this happen with the web server.

I use public proxy and run the test a few times until I get all the PR. I try with private but those get block very soon since I got only 30 proxy with a 60.000 url list

The same, public proxy and run the test a few times

The main idea is to use public, a lot of them when you do not need an accurate response and public when you need.
Also try to see the problem as a communication between two server not as a simple web browsing.

Public proxies for scraping and harvesting, private for commenting.
