This is a common question which strikes many to time in the minds of SEOs. I also have this question.
Please give me suggestons.

It depends .. whether they are do-follow or no-follow .. PR and many other factors

well I usually prefer blog comments!
they seem more effective!

Forum posts if they are do-follow and relevant can boost rankings really nice. I don't know about blog commenting, never bothered with that or know any high do-follow ones

I use both periodically. Both of them are equally effective minus spamming.

As far as seo goes they are both bargain basement techniques, they could be argued away as community building.

As an aside, forum posting can bring a nice add to organic traffic, especially if you spend time and make an impact then people will click on your links. If you come across as spamming then not so much.

What are you trying to do? Destroy your site? Both are equally effective in that case.

Blog commenting is very effective, but it depends on many factors.

I'd avoid those as it's a waste of time building such links manually. They're however very useful when used as tier 2/3 links and built in volume using GSA.

It's not a question for real SEOs. real SEOs know it's useless spam

I suggest both. Forum posting is good and so is blog commenting. It pays in my book to do both.

Blog seems to have a better outlook imo. Forum posting is good too, but tends to look like spam.
