Hello everyone,

Got a question about 301 Redirections, here it goes, I got a site about Football and I got some domains I want to 301 to this site that are fan sites about star football players, so, my question basically is which is the best method to achieve this? Is it option A or option B and why?

A) Redirect all Fan Sites Domains to Root domain (Index)

B) Create a category on site for Players, make small profiles of players and make 301 Redirection to each player profile

Thanks for the help! Please tell me what you think!

Depend on how much time you got, For people like me, first option is good.

Creating multiple pages and redirecting to individual pages will push link juice to the pages and then the home page, which means that you'll probably lose power along the way to the root domain. So the best solution would be to go for A. If there are a lot of domains, you can do a combination of the two methods to make sure you don't make it look unnatural by redirecting a lot of domains to a single website page at the same time..

B is best, if you have the time. Id suggest maybe you do a hidden frame 301 redirects.

But to make it look natural, is best to do it randomly correct? Like 1 Redirection one day and then wait like a week next time for next redirection, and next time 10 days, and next 3 days never leaving a pattern correct?

But, still the main domain is very strong and authority it has over 1.5k referring domains and with 301 I am just want to make it more authority domain. Does it helps that domains has already lot of authority? Because most media or film studios websites do that, they usually redirect domains from old movies that they did not work and they have like 100 redirections or lot more in big brands, this is because of authority or what you think could be?

Thanks!

I think the same but, as I said to SunnyLeon, domain is really authority, when having this kind of authority is it really necesary to hide redirects or follow same rules as a domain with no authority or no age?

Option A - quick way to achieve
Option B - standard way to achieve
My choice also option A only

Hire a VA or go to UpWork and find a freelancer to do option B for you. B actually looks like you give a shit about the old users. A just looks like a SEO gimmick.

I suggest option B best way to achieve more users and obviously user friendly, everything not happen all of a sudden its really easiest way to go with option B.

Yes looking for long term so, I am going with option B, just 2 last questions:

1) To make it look natural what GAP of time I do between redirection and redirection?

2) Do I put all redirection domains on same Domain Registrar account with same WHOIS or make all different with different WHOIS and Private Information?

Thanks again everyone, this information has no price for me!
