We are sticking our toe in the water. Any suggestions (based on experience) which display network would be good to start with?

Buyads?
Buysellads?
Blogads?
Others?

Thanks in advance.

Display

AdBlade - Self-serve, popular choice for the CPA affiliate (particularly those who dabble in rebills).
50onRed - Intext and display ads available. $500 to get started.
BuySellAds - Buy direct placements on high profile websites. Easy to use. Tough to find the good spots.
Buy Ads - More direct placements.
Pulse360 - CPC-based with lots of high quality traffic. Expensive. Won't work on lower payout offers.
engage:BDR - High quality display traffic that you'll need some budget for.
SiteScout - Low risk media-buying entry point for affiliates. Suggest you start here.
MochiMedia - Great launch pad for newbie affiliates in the gaming niche.
Ad2Games - Lots of quality gaming traffic. Heavy German influence.
CPM Star - More gaming traffic. Only limited experience with this one, looks decent.
Juicy Ads - Incredibly lenient, self-serve adult dating platform. Cheap. Great for learning the ropes.
Traffic Junky - One of the most popular sources of adult traffic in the world. Big volume. Equal competition.
Exoclick - More adult dating by the bucket load. Probably not *quite* as good quality as TJ, but offset by cheaper traffic.
AdBucks - Don't be fooled by the minimal interface. This adult display source packs a donkey punch.

SiteScout and BSA seem to be the most mentioned in this forum. SiteScout requires $500 deposit to start with. BSA reportedly has some sites with fake traffic so do your research before buying (compare with Alexa ranking and other tools).

You can also do direct buys by getting your own ad server, researching demographic + traffic, then contacting the site owner and negotiating a contract. If you know exactly what and where you want your ad placed, then this could save you money. You won't be able to switch creatives quickly with a direct buy and you may have to deal with a lengthy out clause.

$500 deposit is not a problem. Thanks for the heads up on BSA. We have Open X and ultimately would like to do direct buys as soon as we can establish from profitable campaigns.

Will be so glad to get away from PPC.

$500 is pretty steep but I've heard good things about SiteScout. I guess the high deposit filters out people just trying to make a quick buck.

The best option is search search some good authority sites where you can see some good rankings.BSA will charge really very bad according to my experience so its better you to choose other option.
If you have any good products go for cpc or face book Advertising.
I really search for good sites and contact the Admin to discuss about the advertising.

What type of offers are you doing? What source did you end up picking? Im doing adult dating, I started with TJ, which was dumb cause they do CPM and I learned you shouldnt use TJ unless you already have tested the ad and get a high click through rate. But are you doing like mobile installs? Natural remedy stuff or something?
