Which matrix do you follow DA/PA or TF/CF

Hey all, I have a confusion which matrix should I follow DA/PA or TF/CF? I am searching on the net but no good answer. What's your opinion? Which one should I follow and why?

PA doesn't matter, Take DA seriously, Then Check TF/CF of Good DA sites. If all good then check RD, Or Skip all Just Check RD, Only RD matters. But if you've huge list of Site, Go with DA.

I usually look at the TF, then RD, but i always re-check profile links

what do you mean with ''check the backlinks''?

The DA/TF should not already give the picture of the quality of the backlink?

 

@Nargil's explaination of metrics from his expired domain / PBN guide is a pretty good overview. Majestic is generally way more useful than Moz, although it should be remembered that they're both third party metrics that have flaws.

In my opinion... both are equally important as Moz and Majestic have laid down a standard evaluation of websites as per their own algorithm.

 

Both are good metrics. However to analyze a site efficiently you must go into its backlink profile and see some of the best backlinks one by one. Also see the ratio between referring domains and referring backlinks.

 

I would definitely check DA/PA, as well as the score (higher score would most likely mean that there may be a few hq links on the site), and then cross reference that to TF>20. A TF>20 would also mean that there are trustworthy sites linking to that domain - TF can't be manipulated, whereas DA/PA can by pumping in pure spam. Thus, a high TF would mean good trust, thus that domain generally has a few good links here and there. A high CF can also be a warning sign - this could be due to high article spam links present, thus a general 1:1 TF/CF would be good enough.

 

DA and TF will be my choice, buy links with decent value of these metrics. good luck for your results.
