Which keyword research tool and why ?

Ahrefs is another popular keyword research tool that offers similar features to SEMrush. Using Ahrefs keyword explorer, you can come up with keyword ideas simply by typing a keyword into the search box. You'll then see a whole list of keyword suggestions.

Google Keyword Tool + Semrush + Keywordtool.io I can use together. Because they give me true volume search.
 
I prefer Semrush and Ahrefs
 
I use Semrush for keyword research.
 
I mostly prefer Semrush and Ubersuggest which provides detailed information about each keyword
 
Ahrefs and SEMrush are the best tool for keyword research because it shows real or actual results of keywords. It shows the search volume, monthly volume, CPC, sd, kd, suggested keyword, etc. so it is the best tool for keyword research for SEO to achieve a high rank in Search engines.
 
KWFinder - It has an elegant design, and it shows DA, PA, SERP, and Majestic Score right when we are researching. That's the cleanest I have ever used. Ahrefs and SEMRush are fine too, but I prefer KWFinder more.
 
Ahrefs is getting expensive with all those reports caps as well. But semrush kind of does the deal with almost everything at one place with really good UI.

Even though i was used to ahrefs when we were able to get hands on it a lot, but now as it getting expensive mostly prefer to go with semrush and then i also use keyword everywhere extension with credits in it and it works like a charm.

Overall i get the idea by comparing the keyword atleast 2-3 places.
 
There are a few basic capabilities to Google Keyword Planner, but it's a straightforward keyword tool.
