Which keyword research tool and why ?

Ahrefs is getting expensive with all those reports caps as well. But semrush kind of does the deal with almost everything at one place with really good UI.

Even though i was used to ahrefs when we were able to get hands on it a lot, but now as it getting expensive mostly prefer to go with semrush and then i also use keyword everywhere extension with credits in it and it works like a charm.

Overall i get the idea by comparing the keyword atleast 2-3 places.

Ahrefs did themself no favours, luckily I have a legacy plan.
Semrush is a great tool also, and we have 4 or 5 other KW tools we use to support the findings from these 2.
 
There are many keyword research tools available as well, including Google AdWords Keyword Planner, Wordtracker, and Moz Keyword Explorer. With these tools, you can find and select the right keywords for your website using a variety of features.

Just signed up thanks to your recommendation. Curious to see their keyword research abilities compared to SEMRush and Ahrefs.
 
Keywords Everywhere - it is very cheap as compared to rest of the players.
