Which keyword research tool and why ?

SEMRush for keyword research, Ahrefs for backlink analysis.

I'm taking semrush recently

lots of guide here utilizing semrush to do keyword research and I'm not dissapointed by the results

All of the tools do the same things, but SEMRush is more accurate when it comes to keyword research. Their keyword magic tool is great, too.
 
Semrush and kwfinder are the best ones for keyword research
 
I always use Ahrefs. Good tool comparatively effective than Google Keyword planner or any other while framing short or long keywords.
 
I use semrush and google keyword planner. I get data from competitor through semrush, then check again with google keyword planner because it is from google so data is more value. I also used ahrefs before but they are very expensive now with their new plan

I agree with you. Google owns google keyword planner. So I guess they will be more accurate in showing search volume or whatever you are looking for. As far as I know, SEMrush is using data from Google Keyword Planner as well. Usually, I used both and combine that with my own data from Google Search Console (Impression) to find the best path.
Ahrefs gets their existing volume data from Google Keyword Planner too, pair it with clickstream data and update it monthly, therefore there will be a delay in the accuracy of their reporting compared to keyword planner. You can use group buy to get save ahrefs budget

ahrefs, semrush - mainly for competitor research
keyword bull - for keyword research (data from google)
 
SEMRush.com is good for keyword research, Ahrefs is for backlink analysis.

I like free tools so I use Google keyword planner. I also like paid tools such as Ahrefs, semrush but I will buy this tool with someone to reduce the cost
