Paypal is universal. Just about anyone who does any online shopping or likes to keep their privacy when doing transactions uses PayPal. It's not a
perfect payment processor but it's reputation certainly stands out among its other competitors (positive or negative really depends on whom you ask.

)
I personally love PayPal and have been using them for years. Their deposit times are 3-5 business days to your checking account but you can usually get your money in your bank before the 5th day, their customer service is exceptional: any time I've had an issue or query they've always been able to be fast and efficient with my request. They also release funds early depending on what your issue/query is.
If you're an Ebay seller, your own concern with PayPal should be potential charge backs but this also goes into common sense: don't do transactions with people who don't have reviews and know the signs of a potential scammer. Paypal will often times freeze your account until the issue is revolved and sometimes that can take
MONTHS to resolve before you get your money back, the best way to get another Paypal account if you've had a frozen account is to re-order all the cards associated with your checking/savings account on your Paypal and register an account with them on a different IP address and a totally different mailing/billing address (I've had my account frozen before so I only know this via experience

). As long as you don't get caught selling Bitcoin or any other sketchy activities that PayPal doesn't endorse, your business with them should be smooth sailing.
Nonetheless, I love PayPal and it's definitely my preferred payment processor.
