Which is better iOS or Android?

Pretty much summed it up.
Depends on how you plan to use it. There’s a lot of freedom that Android offers to devs thats clearly absent on iOS (although most of these features wouldn’t be needed by regular users).
The more you customize your operating system, the easier it is to fingerprint and track. Custom android roms are simple to identify since most people don't use them. There’s no privacy there. No way to use it consistently for modern day blackhat tasks for any dev that is not truly skilled.

Android is implemented by several manufacturers with many different specifications. iOS is implemented by one with nearly identical specifications for the masses that use them. It is easier for iOS to be undetected by modern fingerprinting mechanisms.

Granted, I use both android and iOS for my purposes. Both work as long as the settings are correct.

Using both gives the most freedom for some blackhat tasks.

Is one better than the other? I don't think so. Both are used by billions of people. Why select one when you can have both?

:)

i have both too.
my opinions.....
if you have high aptitude for tech and tinkering. go for android.
only thing ios has going for it is better camera. half of "free" apps are behind a demo paywall. good integration if you use their other products like smart watch or ear phones. but lets face it end of the day those are just another bluetooth gadget.

I think its best to just keep one of each Andriod is cheap enough to get a decent phone for 300. buy an iPhone few years old and its like 500 same price as a flag ship

I think IOS is better but overpriced. I don't really see the need of owning an expensive phone. Very diminishing returns with rising prices. I mean what are we really doing on these phones? Not that much. I'm not playing games personally.

If I really wanted to take a lot of photographs I would just get a full frame DSLR, and if I was a professional photographer I would get a medium format DSLR. The cameras on smartphones have been good enough since at least 2016.

For editing of videos and photos, a laptop/desktop is going to be much easier and most likely faster, it will also offer more features as well as all sorts of input devices that make editing easier.

There's going to be some people that actually benefit from the latest high end devices, but its a small % of the population. For the majority of consumers its pretty much just marketing gimmicks.

Everything related to PC's and Android is a PoS.

iOS all the way because its run very smooth no lags problem but there are lots of cons and pros whiich will take a lot if time to explain better searh on google.

that's totally true. I also hate the fake blur on the portrait modes.

I prefer Android because it's far more customizable and works on a lot of different hardware (thousands of products to choose from). However, because it is designed to work on thousands of products and hardware configurations, it might not always be so well optimized like iOS. But, sometimes it is very very well optimized.

ios in my opinion. I Had Samsung before my iPhone. I wouldn't go back to android. ios is very light and fast.

iOS because I am an adult and my phone just has to perform
