Both are good but I like ahrefs better.

If you have limited budget, go with semrush.

I’ve used both, and honestly, if you're just starting out, Ahrefs is more beginner friendly for keyword and competitor research.

It's difficult to select one tools both tools have great feature and working well. But my personal opinion is Semrush is easy to use for beginner also it's budget friendly for mine.

If your focus is SEO and backlinks, Ahrefs might be the better choice. If you need a comprehensive marketing tool, SEMrush could be more suitable
