Which is best - Sape links as Tier1 or Tier2

use sape directly on the money site, they are pretty powerful links so you should be ok.

I would agree with the answer BOTH.
However, even on Sape links are different. For example you can buy expensive links for you main site, and cheap links for Tier.
P.S. Haven't been for a while to this forum and I'm glad to see that the Sape is still trending topic here!

I would not use them on either! I may be wrong here, but the logic I use is simple - when something comes up and openly advertises itself as a 'network', I would not touch it with a bargepole. Even if the network is showing results today, when it gets hit, it'll take down everything which it helped bring up.

Also - good thing about SAPE is - the month you stop paying they take your links down so no need to "disavow" or anything.
Business is all about risk and nothing is permanent.
I made a lot from BMR a few years back - probably 50x more than I spent on them and there links. They got took down - I removed my lnks - the sites suffered 6 months in the wilderness came back strong.
If you have one site and all your eggs in one basket then maybe not SAPE - but for most it's just a business risk, and like everything in SEO it will likley not work one day in the future - so you take the cash while it's on the table and roll with the punches when they come.

It is better to rank a site for one month and make big money, than to not rank a site at all and make no money. Get onto Sape whilst it lasts, really cant see it going anywhere soon. I would not point Sape links at a site I had been building for the past ten years, but use them to point at a site which take 10 minutes to throw up.

I see you point. Hadn't thought about the fact that if SAPE gets hit, alle you links will be removed the "second you stop paying" - that is the brilliant thing about the service as I see it.

Hey guys -
If you stop paying and suddenly ALL of your SAPE links are removed -
that isn't necessarily a good thing.... just saying. I mean, maybe the negative PR wouldn't be there, but if you aren't diversified and that SAPE link makes up the majority of those connected links to your tiers, you're still screwed.

Agree, I would use SAPE as part of my strategy, not being the majority of my backlink profile

Nice to add say 20 relevant links and that's in - Gives you a boost - you can mix in a ton of other links at the same time.
It's primarily about diversity - and SAPE can add some relatively cheap diversity with some risk - but not enough to make you shy from it.
