I will be off-topic if i start explaining what is an API. To make it short, it's the motor from where you're doing your actions on your bot, software or application (like IG).

I don't do manual, no. But there is still some manual randomized actions in the process, to get the most of it for my clients :)

To all those who were/are using Jarvee and have had block issues, what type of proxy were/are you running?

From all of the reading I've done it appears as if the only way to scale up is with dedicated 4G proxies. Seems like most if not all data center proxies are flagged. I ran JV for a while and it worked great, then started getting blocked. However I put that down to non-circulating data center proxies, and I had multiple accounts running on the same timer. Instagram isn't stupid and will build up enough data to link accounts.

I would say the best way to stay safe is:

  1. Use 4G proxies only if scaling
  2. Don't have too many accounts with the exact same setttings e.g. when they start/stop
  3. Work up slowly with actions
  4. Make sure you stay up to date with latest algo changes from FB
Not tried other bots, but JV is an absolute machine if used correctly.

Note: I am no affiliated with JV at all.

Sorry, but 4G proxies are not the only scaling possibility. Do not say that if you've never tried other options please, such as DC and residential proxies aswell, that can work like a charm (depending of couese, on the providers..).

JV is a good machine, sure. It can do many, many things. But for M/S users like me, JV isn't up to date nowadays ☝️

3 minutes per follows per hour 20
And 7 minutes per 5 follows per hour 35

I need two settings
 
- Pinterest
- IG
- Twatter
- Tumblr

after 12 months of ups and downs with SM bots the one thing it comes down to is IP's if its UK 4g proxie and you don't try and F/L to many it works fine .. that's all I can contribute to this convo
 
How many accounts do you guys have that use gd and fl and stuff? I'd wanna manage no more than 8 content creator accounts. I'm guessing I don't need hard mass botter for that... what would you suggest?

No but if you wanted to push the reach of your clients accounts you also need some worker accounts to re - blog - tweet - pin etc

Actually I'm gonna start several clever niches from the ground up with a lot of traction ww but not much of a insta prescense. Looking to just do amazon merch/redbubble in insta bio on the selected niche. Do chrome extensions work for that or do I still need a program/bot? I've used massplanner ealier and that, I felt like, was the bomb

Don't even try if your broke. It's not cheap to run and it's a huge headache. I learned after wasting 5k for it to be wiped last update. Now I have a bot worst then jarvree and not enough clients to afford a whole team.

I would honestly avoid all sorts of public bots now since Instagram is updating its algorithm everyday.

I'm thinking of automating my browser with analysis from scraped data.. in a way how a human would act.
It would be simple but time saving bot, e.g. just analysing comment's of post's from a niche to follow them or search for the next suitable person who would enjoy your content.

Could instagram detect something like this if it is just the browser clicking,scrolling and behaving like a human?

It's all so confusing!

If starting out again having not used Followliker for a year or so would people recommend going back to that or Jarvee?

Those seem to be the main two people are recommending/Talking about?

Does a VPN help in the same way as a proxy?

If as @Beatblock says you keep changing settings and start slow.

I found I could get reasonable growth just using likes and not doing follow/unfollow?
