Hi guys,
I am looking for domain for website, it will be affiliate site, target audience is men, private and businesses.

I was looking for domains and found 2 available options, both are expired, few nonsense backlinks:

Best + keyword .biz
Best + keyword + Info .com

Which one is better?

.com one looks better, but i would use a hand reg domain if it doesnt have good metrics.

I saw a study saying that the top/big 3 TLDs (.com, .net and .org) are preferred by Google over lesser used TLDs like .us, .info, .biz, etc. So I think that the second option is better

why not both ? If it's an expired one, it does have some backlinks to it. You use the .com one but can have some visitors from the .biz

Those backlinks are old and spammy, but yes, for $4 .biz reg fee there is nothing to loose ;)

Do you have the link to this study? I'm really confused on how Google threats TLDs in general and some scientific data would help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry man, I found that study accidentally about a few months ago and now I can't find it. So you can threat my reply just as personal opinion, not more:)

I found this article quoting from a FAQ by Google on new TLDs

Q: How will new gTLDs affect search? Is Google changing the search algorithm to favor these TLDs? How important are they really in search?
A: Overall, our systems treat new gTLDs like other gTLDs (like .com & .org). Keywords in a TLD do not give any advantage or disadvantage in search.

PS. can't post the link here - Forum somehow blocks sharing URLs. But you can google the paragraph above and find the article.

Right, Google representatives claim they treat all TLDs the same, and I think they are not lying. I guess the thing is that people tend to believe .coms more.

I'd rather choose info.com, I guess thus you will have more traffic.

I'm with .com.
.biz sucks big time. If anything else than .com, I'd consider .info or .co.

not any info.com shit. Whatever your niche is, try to build a brand. So you should choose a brandable domain too.
