which domain registrar is best?

Recently dabbled into the services of 123-reg (a UK domain registrant) and I have to say their prices aren't bad, the Whois privacy is a bit more expensive than Namecheap's (after the free year), but totally worth it seeing as almost none of the other good registrars offer Whois privacy for .co.uk/.uk domains. All in all I'm very satisfied with their services.

But yeah, Namecheap and Namesilo for .coms/.nets etc.

Any NameCheap Coupon code for .com domains.
Other than "CHILLY"

I always go for name.com but that is maybe just because of their "privacyplease" promo code - I dont need to find new promo each time, this one works like for last 4 years :D

Godaddy is the best but if you any bad impression about it you can go for namecheap

Thanks

I use Enom for domains I keep and Go daddy for those I flip. I have an old grandfathered Enom reseller account. Namecheap is an enom reseller.

It depends on what you want to do. But for domain names, there are good promo codes for new purchases and renewals with GoDaddy. One thing about GoDaddy is that for any active products in the account, it's required to keep a payment method on file in the account, and the payment method can only be changed or edited, and not deleted. Only if there are no active products in the account can a payment method then be deleted. I mention this in case you were ever to open an account for a client or something business related, and then needed to hand over the account to someone else, as this could be a problem.
