which domain registrar is best?

Actually i thought to register 1 domain with Godaddy but i have seen bad reviews in google about godaddy.

Can i proceed with godaddy?

This is the first time iam buying domain.

Any tips?

yes use Godaddy, and use a coupon so you pay cheap for it! :)

I prefer NameCheap. They have the best customer service. I've been with GoDaddy and I'll never use it again.
 
Namecheap for me but GoDaddy is so entrenched in the game it's almost like you have to do business with them at some point
 
In godaddy account creation phone number format not matching with my phone number.Iam from india i tried giving my mobile and landline number so many times but failed to register bcoz of phone number.
In Godaddy the format is +91.1234564430 but normally we write +911234567890.
help me in this regard.

Is there any possibility to get private who is for free?

Not sure about the phone number but Namecheap gives you free whois privacy
 
I am trying to avoid godaddy and currently quite satisfied with namecheap and namesilo where i can get whois privacy for free

Namecheap, free WhoIsGuard for one year :)

I don't see why anyone would use GoDaddy without absolutely having to, they're a fairly terrible company.

I am using it from more then 2 years and no problem at all. And also Domain price is cheaper then the others, Also cheaper on renewal.

I recommend Namecheap.

I can recommend Namecheap, Namesilo and Internetbs.
 
I've been using Namecheap for nearly a year and I have absolutely no complaints about them or the domains I registered with them.
