Which browser extensions provide data to SimilarWeb?

I thought similarweb has their own crawlers and stuff. I never really got much out of their extension since it was limited to x amount of data

their main data source to estimate traffic is browser extensions.
either from 3rd party extension or their in-house extensions they build by themselves.

There's an easier way to do what you want, which I believe is "manipulated similarweb traffic rankings". Just buy them online for $35. I have used services like that before. Google Similarweb fake traffic or similar query to get such websites.

The exact extension names are probably impossible to verify from public information. The official Similarweb extension is obvious, but third-party contributors may share data through SDK or data-broker agreements rather than sending it directly to a Similarweb domain.

Checking network requests alone could therefore miss them. A better starting point is the extension’s privacy policy and Chrome Web Store data-use disclosure: look for permission to collect browsing history and share it with analytics partners. Even then, it would not prove that Similarweb receives the data, so any “complete list” without contractual or developer evidence should be treated as speculation.

I doubt they make such a list of all the extension used by them for public consumption. I believe similarweb uses information from many different sources therefore, it is not possible to identify just one extension.
 
As far as I know, Similarweb doesn’t publish a complete, definitive list of every browser extension they use for their traffic estimates.

They’ve mentioned using multiple data sources, including aggregated digital behavior data, partnerships, public data and other measurement sources.

So I wouldn’t rely on random extension lists floating around forums as the exact source.
