i know ezinearticles, goarticles, articlealley, articlecity, articledashboard, and some other active article directories. But i have at least 5-10 articles in each directory as of now and i don't know where else should I submit new articles with backlinks to my site (because i dont think keep submitting to ezine would help much as we need to differ)

I have heard of seolinkvine, but most similar services like this have failed to impress in the past because most of the sites submitted were usually inactive. DOes seolinkvine actually work? because i have to pay just to get in...

High PR blogs within your niche. Contact 15 - 20 blog owners and ask them if you can blog post in exchange of 1 or 2 links to your website in your article. Few of them will reply. You'll get quality backlinks PLUS targeted visitors.

if you only have 5-10 articles in each site pointing back to your site, then just keep submitting to those sites. like you said, there is diminishing returns from getting more and more backlinks from the same ip addresses but you dont need to worry about that until you have at least 5,000-10,000 articles at those sites, or maybe even 50,000-100,000. so you have got a long way to go until then.

if you need more ideas for article directories to post to though, directorycritic.com has a huge list which you can sort by PR

also, i wouldnt waste your time submitting to articlealley, as last time i checked they were nofollow. some other high PR do follow directories are suite101, buzzle, selfgrowth, isnare, thewhir, webpronews, articlesnatch, ideamarketers, articletrader, articlebiz, a1articles, articleblast, articleslash, sooperarticles, searchwarp, and site-reference

Your advising this guy to keep submiting articles to the same directories until he hits 10,000?

Your either 1 of these internet guru's, in the same niche as him or just don't know what the f**k you're talking about

all i can say is, SEOlinkvine does work,

seolinkvine does not give u a ton of links for every article you submit, however, those links you will get are powerful

so, you cant simply used it as your only source of backlinks, you got to have a variety of links

personally, by combining seolinkvine & linkwheel gives me great result

Submitting to big and established directories not only bring you backlinks but also visitors. I know people who are submitting to ezine articles only making good money just from article marketing... So up to you what you want, if need backlinks then look for other source also. Only few sites will not be enough.
