Hi,
I'm not expert in PBN and I have a question:
what difference there is between pointing a PBN to a Tier 1 or directly to a Money site?
Online I see various links schemes, but if I buy a PBN service where do I have to point backlinks?
To a Tier 1 o to a Money site?
Thank you.

Generally, you would point the PBN direct to your money site.
However, if you have a high ranking web2.0, that is already pointing to your money site, (tier1)
then you might want to power that up with a PBN link too.

Point PBN links directly to your money site. But yeah, like Panther28 says, if you have a good tier 1 property, you can send a few PBN links to that property to juice it up.

There are reasons to do both. Here's a small guide. Note that some of the points on the money site list aren't mutually exclusive with those on the tier 1 list. It's a spectrum based on what you're working on and your priorities.

More Likely to Want to Point at Money Site If...
  • You control the domain
  • You have a relationship with the PBN owner and know that the site(s) are clean
  • You're sure the site hasn't been spammed
  • The site has real content and otherwise looks real to a manual review
  • The site has a coherent theme that makes sense with what you're linking to (mostly in terms of manual review)
  • Footprints have been removed/minimized. Includes both minimizing footprints between individual PBN sites and other PBN sites as well as footprints between the PBN site(s) and your money site(s).
  • You're working on a churn and burn or otherwise short-term project (if everything else about the PBN is clean, ignore this point)
More Likely to Want to Point at Tier 1 If...
  • You don't control the domain
  • You don't know the seller
  • You specifically know that the PBNs are questionable
  • The site has questionable footprints (shitty PBN hosting, many PBNs on the same host, etc)
  • The site uses spun garbage
  • The site looks like your asshole (terrible design, elements overlapping each other, plain white/default theme, illegible font, etc)
  • The domain name and/or site theme is completely irrelevant or looks like spam
    • Ex: "samsmithforsupremecourt2006.com" with articles on every topic from Clash of Clans hacks to steroids and knockoff sneakers
  • You're buying from a BST and it has a Chuck E. Cheese theme with 10k comments that are all order IDs
  • You're working on a long-term project and need to minimize risk (if everything else about the PBN is clean, ignore this point)

My recommendation is:
- point strongest PBNs to money site
- point weakest PBNs to Tier 1.

Thank you for this:)

if you buy one of those public fake PBN services you can point it to whatever you want, it will only have short term benefit if any and you risk of getting deindexed when the linkfarm is found out.
thats the problem with all those services. if the network gets found, your domains will get deindexed too. if you have a real PBN (one that only you use), its way harder for google to detect as such.
public PBNs are easy to spot even if they take care of best practices. doesn't matter if you don't have any footprints if you create linkfarms that seem like old FFA sites lol.
that being said, if you create your own PBN, then point it at your money site. tiers would be a waste in that case, unless you want to rank a parasite.

You should always point the strong links directly to your main page.

If it’s a quality PBN then def directly to moneysite, no point wasting it for tiers. Some use buffer (tier 1) for safety reasons but that would indicate to low quality PBN which is questionable to use at all.
