Where to place likes for most effectiveness?

Alright, I know the title is bad but I couldn't think of a better wording. Basically I'm wondering about strategy, or where to place my likes. I have a imacro doing about 250 likes per hour on the tag "smile". This gets me about 3 followers a day. Maybe 5 on a good day. Is there a better way to go about doing this? I want real followers and this is doing fine but I feel like I could be doing a lot better. It's a personal/business account but I'm pursuing likes for the business part of it.

Is what I'm doing fine or should I be mass liking all of an individual users pics then move to another one? Maybe try a different tag? I'm going for the average person and that was about as average as I could get. How many more likes could I net adding comments?

Anyways TL;DR What is the perfect like bot, in terms of like to comment ratio? The tags it targets (for average person) and hours of operation?

As with any product you have to deliver it as fast as possible at the right time.

With likes it means that you have to deliver them:
1. When the user is expects them.
2. From accounts he/she wants to follow.

You will significantly improve you like ratio by just no-liking bot accounts. But how do you know where is a bot?
