Hi everyone,

I’m new here and just getting started with making money online. There are so many methods discussed on this forum that it’s a bit overwhelming. As a beginner, what would you recommend learning first to build a solid foundation? Any advice or common mistakes to avoid would really help.
Thanks for your time!

I will personally start with 1-2 things only and focus on those that i have at least some experience or knowledge and try to develop more from those. Once you get first 1-2 orders drop the other things and just focus on that niche instead as you find already where it is demand . Sound easy but can't count how many peoples screw this step up and end up not making progress

What are you skilled at content creation wise? On the net, its either text, image, audio, or video. Choose the platforms that you like that will pay you for content. Work on them and study their polices, and do your best.

Start by learning one simple skill, like writing or helping businesses online. Don't try to do too many things at once. It takes time! Just keep practicing a little every day, stay patient, and don't give up.

You should learn the basic models: Affiliate marketing (CPA, Revshare), Services (content writing, website development, ad campaigns), Digital products (ebooks, courses later). See which one suits you best.

Welcome! As a beginner, focus first on one skill: content creation, SEO, ads, or simple freelancing. Learn basics of traffic, monetization, and consistency. Avoid jumping between methods, chasing “fast money,” or paying for hype. Build fundamentals, test small, and scale what works.

If you are serious about making money online, start with learning video editing and creation. Master it and learn AI video creation too.

Most beginners fail because they chase methods instead of learning how money actually moves online. Pick one skill tied to distribution - SEO, paid traffic, scraping leads, simple services - then sell that skill before building some fancy business. Biggest mistake is stacking tools + courses with zero execution, cash comes from shipping something ugly and improving it. Once you’ve made your first $100, everything gets way clearer.

Welcome! Start with one method. Like affiliate marketing or freelancing, and focus on learning traffic, copy, and audience building. Avoid shortcuts and stay consistent. Test, learn, and scale gradually. :)

I understand exactly what you're saying! It's OK. Every new member was overwhelmed at least once :)
My personal advice: start where you have some personal interest (not only money) and try affiliate marketing. GL!

Hi welcome! A good starting point I think is to evaluate the current skills you have then invest time in developing and refining those skills. Best of luck!
