I use namecheap as well for years. I don`t look at few dollars as it`s annoying to have main sites on multiple registers.

I'm using Cloudflare registrar now. The price is standard, but they offer free dnssec.

Domain Registration:
Namesilo - cheapest without promos, which I am aware of.
Namecheap - cheapest with promos, which I am aware of.
Domain Renewal:
Cloudflare - cheapest without promos, which I am aware of. (only if you use cloudflare.)
All are reliable.

For diversity's sake, I use roughly 2 dozen registrars.
As much as I despise G0daddy, I am a member of their Domain Discount Club; it's worth it for me for domains that I have yet to develop.
That stated, Uniregistry was my prime until they got bought out by G0daddy.
Currently my primes are:
Namesilo
Internetbs
Namecheap
With the first two registrars, you get privacy at no additional costs.
