Where Should I get Links from?

Hello,

I have a new android app and I would like to get organic app installs. I was thinking to get some links from relevant top websites who shares android apps, (apkpure) for example. I wanted to have a "download app" button in those kind of websites. Can you suggest me which websites to go to choose to get links from? I am not a marketer myself.

App niche: communication /sms verification app.

I have tried to contact websites who offer similar services, they never responded to my emails.

Please suggest me how to go with it.

Then you need to hire someone to do that for you.

Try posting in HAF or WTB section, someone with this expertise will contact you.
 
You can look into BHW marketplace, there a lot of services, you can contact sellers and ask whether they promote apps or not.
Alternatively, you can post the same thing in Hire A Freelancer section.

my answer might be out of topic but some advertising networks can give you natural installs and engagement to manipulate the ranking algorithm, the same thing can be done with microworkers websites.
 
I see you want to build links to promote the download of your App. But have you considered listing your app in the marketplace like AppSumo? It will also help you get downloads, may solve your purpose too?

I think they only work with Life Time Deals, my app is free. Not sure if I should ask them.

I was looking for natural downloads only, I saw many websites offer bot or fake installs, I do not want that.

Instead of thinking of getting links, I would focus on shopping your app for reviews on influential blogs that routinely feature new apps.

Get people to talk about your product.

This is how you stand out because once they see that you are an actual brand instead of just somebody looking for links, you start getting the attention from niche insiders.

This is what leads to ironclad high value links.

Do a little bit of product outreach.

Issue a press release tying your product to some sort of controversial issue or some pressing need or some data that you may have access to that people can tie to something big.

Think along those lines.
 
Find websites that rank highly in Google for your "targeted keywords." As an example, the SMS Verification App.

Sort through the top pages, then examine their traffic and other metrics. Send them an email with your proposal. Keep in mind that there is no guarantee of a response. Some will respond if they have an advertisement column, while others will ignore your email. It is a long-term process that requires investment (Time + Patience + Money).

You must repeat this process until you find a suitable site that meets your requirements. On the other hand, you can try out for Google Ads.
 
You can get links from other websites, social media, directories, blogs, and other online sources.
 
First of all, I would search for software platforms like AppSumo, Pinchground, Dealify, Lifetimo, etc. to add your app and generate organic traffic. Secondly, you certainly have some competitors in your niche. Get a detailed backlink analysis and see where they get quality links and traffic. You can always get the same links as your competitors to reach your goals. Thirdly, if you have some budget and no time, you can aways hire someone to get good links for your app.
