I'm just wondering where you guys store your ideas and notes? Do you have a chalk board? A white, dry erase board? A bulletin board to post all your print outs? Or are you old school and just put them on a notepad?

I'm interested in what you guys use as my brain is overflowing and I need to write some more stuff down to start remembering.

Thanks

I just use my head! I was planning on getting a notepad to jot some ideas, but I procrastinate too much. :D

I use a combination of a notebook and Notepad/Word docs. The notebook is good for general ideas, whereas the electronic methods are good if I need to make a note of any URLs.

I carry a hand-me-down, cheap-o, mass-produced Chinese "to do list" notepad with me 24-7, writing down everything I consider remotely valuable throughout the entire day. I literally stop what I'm doing, write the idea down, and continue with my business.

I have thousands of these little papers strewn about everywhere, from which some of my most profitable ideas have been born. You could say that my businesses are built with sticky notes and elbow grease. :)

I use Powerpoint to make a presentation of my ideas. In case someone rich guy contact me.

Dropbox and LastPass - that way I can pull up the ideas/to-do list whether I'm at home, the office or out with my cell phone...

I have a whiteboard and a chipboard... the use the Whiteboard to write up my To Do List, and I use the Chipboard to pin any ideas I have. At the weekend or whenever I get free time, I collect all the ideas together and order them in priority, then leek them over a certain period onto my Whiteboard/To Do list.

A4 sheet - Yes i write it and have it. physiologically saying - we are sitting in front of computer for long hrs, so if you have something on computer we give less preference, if you have a hard copy that too written by you it gives you more importance.

Notepad. Somehow it feels easier to find and read when needed than seeing where i put that file and tabbing it in and out while going trough things in it. Also i somehow kinda like writing by hand like that lol.

i have a pile of notepads on my desk and lots of pens close to hand

As techy as I am, I certainly also like to write my notes down on something tangible.

notepad, and every now and again in the middle of the night i have an idea, then I just use my phone to record

Moleskin notebook for ideas and white board for brainstorming.

I also keep some swipe files in Evernote.

I have a notebook I keep. I note down all my brilliant BIG ideas in it. Keywords and SEO/IM related ideas I just write in notepad.

I have shell scripts for todo lists, that basically create reminders and flat text files. I also have a series of shell scripts for each language I'm working with that logs in code snippets I find interesting or have an idea on how to improve.

I find it strangely fascinating knowing how everyone else stores ideas.

OLD SCHOOL BABY FTW !

It gets sooo much easier when you have something to write right on your desk. When I go to sleep I put it near my bed in case something interesting comes to my mind (I think the most before I sleep, that's when good ideas pop-in lol).
I'm on the same vibe with you antsaoo lol :D
