Where do I start with my current knowledge and skills?

Hi everybody, I need some advice on where and how to start making money online.
I'm currently a CS student I'm good with programming.I've worked before with photoshop and adobe premier mainly for a friend of mine as a volunteer to help him with a FB page he had .I also wrote articles in a student philosophy magazine at the university.
now what can I do to make money online? what would you guys suggest?

Ask people what they want and make it, if it's a good business model

Also I'd say...

Do something you enjoy or can at least tolerate

Don't invest too much too quickly at first

Focus on one thing (don't get shinny object syndrome) then when it takes off diversify for a little for protection

I am new on the forum but I have experience of the real world. I would suggest you to work freelance. Freelance working is the best choice one can make while starting because it teaches a lot about working style of the industry. You can start with fiverr which is hands down the best option for anyone who is just starting. Focus on one gig at a time. Start slow, steady and focused. You will start earning a good amount in no time. Just do not run to collect all at once.

With those kinds of skills, you might be a decent web developer and operate someone’s site. Or if you want to utilize Adobe knowledge and your brief writing career, you could edit photos or go into content writing. These things do take some skill, but you’ll get there, I’m sure. Now, if you want to combine those three things, you can always dive in deep with an Affiliate site. After all, you’d be able to solve your own coding problems and you could write for the site, too. It all comes down to how much you’re willing to put into it.

What country do you live in? Trying to make all of your money online makes about 10x more sense for someone in a less developed country. If you live in Germany, you're usually putting in far more hours for less pay than if you just got a normal coding gig. The number of people on this forum drawing down 50+k euro is certainly less than 5%. Basically 100% of normally employed coders get around that salary. On the flip side, if you live in Pakistan your wages are a lot lower, and you can probably top it with the right business model.

I need something small at first maybe to buy video games or something. if I make $10k/year that would be great for where I live or even less.
