Where do I need to improve?

Hi, a newbie here. I bought a channel with a 10k sub. I'm uploading product review type videos and looking forward to earning with amazon affiliation (already saturated niche I think). I've already uploaded 16 videos in 3 weeks. It got monetized just waiting for AdSense to be approved. You can see the result of a video in the screenshot. The CTR rate is 8.9% for this video and all traffic coming from Search. I just wanted to know, Is this good enough? Is it gonna grow? Is the low retention gonna harm the video's growth? where do I need to put effort? Please give me some suggestions.

That low retention is a concern, any specific niche you’re doing?

Have you unlocked community post? If so that may help you reach out to more audience.

Try to collab with MrBeast, will get you nice boost

You got amazing channel niche for affiliates. Just keep rolling. Not youtube expert so wait for someone else to answer.

I'm just picking low-average competition keywords (e.g. best gaming headset under $100) and making videos out of them but most of them are tech products. Yeah, the community post unlocked but the subscribers are not my niche-based. The channel was on a different niche.

That’s usually hard to build having subscribers from different niche, anyway, seems like you’re on the right track, might want to just keep uploading and look more through the analytics results some more, just this one video alone can’t tell much on the potential yet.

If you want fast growth you should focus on browse features/suggested views, that way you will get more eyeballs to your affiliate offers. Think out of the box

Having had subscribers from a different niche could be the issue here but you definitely are on the right course , it would take some time to build audience that are subscribed because they are interested in your videos when that happens it will naturally give you a boost in views rate whenever you post
