I work for a mattress brand, which has good sales on Amazon. But it doesn't have the promotional relations with these famous media. So, I can only buy some guest posts from medium websites.

Do you have a sleep expert on staff? You may not need to buy links in that case.
not sure whether this is a joke (could be a funny one if it was one), or I am missing something :)

Local SEO and partnerships with bloggers usually work well too.......

You can still build strong authority with niche relevant guest posts and branded mentions traffic and relevance matter more than just famous media sites.

No harm, no foul. I still build links using HARO and other reactive PR platforms. HARO is still free, and they do ask for sleep experts from time to time. If you take a look at mattress review sites like s*l*e*e*p*o*p*o*l*i*s (remove the *), you can see that they got links from reactive PR. There are other options too, like making sleep calculators, statistics articles, interesting insights on mattresses, and then reaching out. Lots of ways tbh. There are tons of places which you can replicate.

Hey, for a shopify mattress store, link building needs to be very specific, the best approach is to divide the strategy into two fronts, local links and national authority links, for local links, the key is to partner with local businesses that aren't direct competitors, you can contact furniture stores, physiotherapy clinics, or interior design studios and offer to exchange articles on their blogs, local directories like the Ccamber of commerce or news sites in your city are also a goldmine because google highly values geographic relevance when someone searches for mattresses near them.

To truly scale your business, the proven path is digital public relations, the most impactful links come from media outlets specializing in health, home decor, and sustainability, create content with factual data, such as guides to the best mattress for back pain, and offer it to journalists so they can cite you as an expert source, if you can get a reputable publication to mention your store, that single link is worth more than a hundred low quality ones.

  1. Guest posts on sleep/home decor blogs
  2. Reddit & Quora niche discussions
  3. Influencer/product review outreach
  4. Business directories & citations
  5. PR/press release sites
Focus on relevant, high-quality backlinks only.

For a matterss store, nich relevance matters more than random high DR links,so focus on sleep, home, lifestyle, and wellness sites. common mistake a buying generic guest posts with no topical connection, which rarely, helps lon term.

You don’t always need the biggest media sites to grow a brand. A lot of sellers get the best long term results from consistent placements on niche blogs, sleep-related sites, and review platforms that already have the right audience.

for mattress store try home sleep health and lifestyle blogs bro medium sites can work if audience and page topic match well

Thank you for your suggestion! I already bought some guest post backlinks from these websites.

Focus on niche edits and guest posts from home decor, sleep health, and parenting blogs since they're the most relevant, you should also reach out to smaller review sites and offer them a sample to get featured in their mattress roundups, grab some local business citations too, even if you’re only online, just to build up your brand’s trust signals.

Medium guest posts are okay to start, but don't overdo it. focus on getting links from sites that actually matter in your niche. think about building relationships with sleep bloggers and review sites, even if it takes a bit longer. also, check your site's speed, a slow site won't rank well, and that ttfb needs to be snappy

for Amazon specifically the off site traffic signals help BSR so even medium sites driving real clicks to your listing has value beyond just the backlink.
