Soooo I'd like to learn about SEO but I'm not sure where to begin. I have 0 SEO knowledge, I don't know what backlinks are or anything. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Go through the SEO section of the forum. As well blogs from guys like Matthew Woodward, Brian Dean ane Neil Patel, there are other guys as well.
Overtime, you'll get a hang of it and start learning what are the current best practices.

My first advice will be to breakdown SEO into smaller and more manageable pieces, otherwise, it will eat you alive.

This community is filled with golden gems about SEO but, it wouldn´t be my first stop.
First, I highly recommend you to check some tutorials or free courses on the basics and fundamentals of SEO.
YouTube and Udemy are great for this.
I prefer Udemy because it offers a more organized and structured approach to learning.

Start churning through there.
After that, you should be ahead of most people on this forum. Theres a lot of experts here, but in terms of percentage, it's a few. The majority of people here are either not interested in SEO but more into internet marketing, or they don't really read in-depth about SEO and try to scim through quick hacks for SEO.
