Correlation is not causation. A site might rank really well from having lots of quality backlinks. This would also give it a high DA. But it did not get one because of the other. DA just gives you some idea of the number of backlinks of a site, it doesn't really tell you anything about their quality and therefore ranking power.

Da - domain authority
Pa - page Authority
Moz provide stats about the strength of your entire domain or just that one page.
Most people say da-pa is irrelevant but I’ve only ever bought links from sites with high da/pa and it’s worked. So I personally don’t think it’s irrelevant. But super users on BHW would argue that point.

But can you please enlighten me.
As I’ve been focusing on da pa and I’ve had very good success. Now if I hadn’t that would be different. But am actually top spot and business has never been better.
Erm because when Google stopped publicly updating PR, there was a rush by charlatans (Moz and co) to replace it with something else. Something that has fuck all to do with PR. Well at least the mugs lapped it up, just like they intended.

So let me get this straight.
You do not consider the Da or Pa of backlinks watsoever. Because every single seller on BHW is advertising DA and PA.
Google might have gotten rid of it PR.
Like when Nokia stop making brick phone.
It’s doesnt iPhone can’t make better smartphones than Nokia did. Or would also suggest that iPhone is irrelevant if judging the best cellphones to play snakes or Tetris on.

So what google got rid of PR. And decided not to replace it. Moz invented DA to mirror PR and majestic sprung up talking about trustflow. These other sites could absolutely mean nothing or everything.
No one truly knows how google algorithm works and there constantly updating the damn thing anyway and changing the playing field.
Everyone’s got their tool of choice.
Some of you guys like like Alexa, majestic or Pocahontas for analysing your backlinks. Good for you.
My personal choice is niche backlinks, moz rank, moz da and pa checks for screening.
It’s worked for me so far and am ranking no1 for multiple keywords.
Don’t hate the player. Hate the game.

No. DA an PA are not good metrics. One can easily fire up GSA, blast a load of dog shit at a domain, and there you go. Good DA and PA. You very clearly understand very little.

It’s better to understand very little, than to be a know it all type of person. Am guessing you know it all.
What am doing works for me. Am not buying spammy backlinks. And if I find a spammy link I disavow.
Moz works for me. It really works for me.
I’ve only ever used moz to analyse and grow.
And it’s worked very well for me.
Am no1 and my company is booming.
What more do you want me to say?
