Currently my money site ratings is
DA 34
PA 41
TF 14
CF 42
no not bad for a site that's just over 2 years old
I've bought a lot of social signals, edu/gov, pbn links and some high DA authority backlink
My website is currently ranking No1 for multiple keywords and am on the 1st/2nd page for few more.

But my main competitor has a DA 40 and PA 47
and their ranking for the ultimate golden keyword in my industry
I haven't actually target that keyword yet because of the difficulty and my stats.

Am ranking great for a few keywords but not the golden nugget.
So just when will my DA/PA update.

DA/PA only not a matter for ranking. You should build more high Authority backlinks to your money site. So, you only told some of your KWs are NO 1 compare with your competitor site. Your competitor site have high DA right then how it happens ? So my suggestion is DA only not matter for ranking, so you no need to wait for the next update.

If you're getting organic traffic and you have a good DA, I'm sure that DA matters. If you improve your DA, ultimately it means your traffic is increasing.

Bro. my whole link building approach has been based on site with high DA/PA. I haven't really looked at TF/CF or relevancy and am ranking very well for important keywords in my niche.
Its hard pill to swallow, if your telling me that DA/PA doesn't matter.
If it doesn't why does it exist?
I think DA/PA very important and if you look at site ranking for the same keywords
You can see that NO1,2,3 always have a higher DA/PA than lower ranking site. Facts.

That my philosophy towards SEO. To improve my DA/PA and improve my ranking position on multiple keywords.
Improve my site wide PA for multiple pages and social signals for my inner pages.
at the moment most of my links are hitting my homepage and not my inner pages.

But I really want to see my DA/PA above 40 now.

Because Moz wants your money.
That's a conspiracy bro.
Google want my money aswell. everyone wants everyones money.
I want your money and you want my money.
Doesn't change the fact that DA is important in ranking.

Am not told DA/PA doesn't matter, It is not only a matter bro, so many things are work for getting ranking. so we have to do all those things.

Moz is not Google.

*Mic drop*
This guy.
So are we claiming there’s association whatsoever between Moz rank and google rankings?
All I want is hard solid proof.
Show a source/link from a reputable website where it says DA/PA is irrelevant to ranking juice.

Ok moz is not google. But it’s quite accurate

Take your domain, blast it with hundreds of shitty PBNs and some GSA blasts. Your DA will be over the roof and I can assure you, that your ranking won't. I can show you hundreds of high DA domains that are penalized as well.

DA is a third party metric. And as a bonus, one of the worst ones. They have maybe 20% of the index that Ahrefs or Majestic have. All in all, these metrics serve merely as a filter if you have to process a large number of domains at once. That's it.

All that matters is actual ranking, actual traffic and how much you really make. That's it. No funny numbers from tragic companies.

Very good.
Thanks for clearing this up for me.
Also send me your most recent list of expired domains.

Moz isn't Google.

Did you miss the mic drop?
Google could care less what MOZ does/measures.
I can rank on Bing and be penalized on Google...Moz might still love me with high DA.

Wtf, you want a reputable source that what one company does, another abides by?

Google never cares about Moz PA or DA for Ranking.

For Ranking better do SEO: Publish quality content & Build quality links.

The only metric more useless than DA is Alexa Rank.

"Domain Authority is not a metric used by Google in determining search rankings and has no effect on the SERPs."
