When will Covid go extinct?

It will vanish the same day global warming, mass media, our governments, big pharma will vanish, which means probably in a few years.
 
One of our local epidemiologists said that it will probably slowly mutate to what we know as common cold family of viruses in a span of 5, 10 or 15 years.

But first you need to get a booster every 6 months, so you can stop the mutations. Collective vaccinated immunity is where it's at.

Maybe it will adapt to us. it's like a natural screening of healthy people who will survive the pandemic
 
The coronavirus is not new. People think it's new but it has always been around. The only difference is that it has made a jump from animals to humans but it has been around for a long time and there are many kinds of coronavirus.

It's not something that will ever go away. It's just a matter of how much we can contain it and keep it from spreading out of control. Think about viruses like MERS and SARS. They are also coronaviruses. While they aren't talked about lately on the news, they still exist and it's still in circulation but in very small numbers so it's not a pandemic. The Spanish Flu of 1918 came in 4 waves, and while the world eventually ended the pandemic, the Spanish Flu was never eradicated. It's with us every year in the form of the flu if you didn't know that.

When can we end the pandemic is the correct question to be asking, not if Covid19 will ever be gone. It won't be gone ever. It's here permanently.
It's just about getting enough people vaccinated on this planet to end the pandemic. Like the common cold and flu, it will come around every year and you'll just have to get shots each year (annual vaccinations). The goal is to reach herd immunity and the variants keep raising that number so it was believed 50-60% of the population vaccinated would reach herd immunity but due to the variants it's now estimated to be 80-90% need to get vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity.
