when I have a problem, the problem cripples me and I cannot do anything until the problem is resolved.

I will give you an example. I am just making this up but it's really close to reality

let's say I bought gmail accounts and the guy didn't send it to me and he turned out to be a scammer. or I sent an email to someone and he didn't answer me. I will be really upset and I cannot do anything. I cannot eat. if someone asks me to fix his computer I will give him attitude and say "leave me the fuck alone I dont want to do it"
if someone tells a joke, I will ignore her, hurting her feelings.
if my garbage can is full, I cannot take out the garbage.
if my phone rings, I won't answer it, or I will pick up and press the end button so the call disconnects.

I am completely disabled until this problem is resolved.

then when the problem is resolved, I realize how minor it was and it wasn't a big deal, and I regret overreacting and hurting myself and others over nothing.

why am I like this and how can I stop being like this?

You're putting all your eggs in one basket. You overthink because that problem means a lot in your life.

Everyone is like that.

Avoid putting yourself in situations where "your life is on the line" by distributing your worries.

no everyone is not like that. I have seen guys who have far worse problems than me, far worse, and they keep trucking.

I find that during the day I tend to have this problem more, and when I realize it wasn't a big deal and start having regrets it's usually night time.

Being UPSET at your self wont help. Always be happy. A few weeks ago, Fiverr banned all my Accounts (6). The "Your account has been disabled" emails kept dropping when I reloaded my Gmail app for the update. I knew Anger WILL NEVER solve my issue, what I did?

I left my desk, took my earpiece, played my favorite music, and went on a MANDATORY walk down the street. While I was walking, I was already contemplating how to go about creating other accounts. I kept getting very great ideas, ideas I never thought of when my 6 accounts weren't banned.

After a long time of walking, I went back home, took a shower, and went to the bar to cool myself.

That night, I made a list of WHAT TO DO to get back on my feet, starting with the basic things

Like

DAY 1. Create Gmail accounts, rest
Day 2, Create Fiverr accounts, rest

and so on.

1 thing I like about myself is that. I believe ANGER WILL NEVER BRING any solution because it's a fight against oneself. Besides, I have seen worse, so I just acted like it's no biggie and keep my cool because I know i won't give up.

I can relate with not picking calls too, it only happens on day 1, the next day, it's all gone and I'm good as I used to.

IMO

If you see disappointment as part of progress, you won't be disappointed

What you are feeling is completely normal and it takes good mental habits to not be too affected by it. Hard to control how you feel but you can control how you act even when something went wrong.

Overthinking causes burnout sometimes. Even I overthink and sometimes I get burnouts too. But I think this is just a part of life.

While we are on the topic, how do you prevent burnouts?

It's a cortisol thing. The best remedy is to stay committed to a task without much distraction as possible. Also, if you're a social media junkie, pull yourself out of it.

you're a timid, serious, and introvert guy. I have personally experienced these things before. But when you make a lot of money you will STOP CARING or CARE WAY LESS on small things. Even some big problems you just won't care anymore as long as it could be solved by money and won't involve a hell of a lot of money. I'm fast asleep during the night. Did you get scammed? Okay. I'll buy it from another source. Money fixed this kind of thinking of mine.

How many times do you have to keep suffering from self-diagnosed bad attitude to work and social?

Seconding Mr. Positive, deep breathing works - look up "Wim Hof Method". I do it daily.

On another note, does anyone have tips for my situation, it is sort of the opposite of this guy. Whenever I have big tasks I solve them by pretending they are either not worth my time or lying to myself that I will have time to do it later/they will be automatically corrected. How do I change THIS?:weep:

you could try googling how to stop procrastinating
but I heard something interesting which I had never heard before, procrastination comes from lack of self love, so figure out how to love yourself more.

Hmm thanks for that bro. I need a lot of that and I think that can work.
