When & How did you make your 1st Dollar$$ Online?

6 grand is pretty nice and your story makes me want to reinforce a point I made on here in another one of my posts... Never put all your eggs in one basket and when you find a short term way to make money use that money to reinvest in more long term rock solid ways to make consistent money. I know it's hard not to blow the money instead of saving and reinvesting but that's a huge problem with a lot of people I talk to online.
2010...online casinos. Just some SEO on a couple of sites brought me about $6,000 total because I lucked out and picked up a customer who basically gambled away his life savings. Then the affiliates became garbage on payouts and Google took it's dump on online casinos. After that, I ran CLAD on CL selling the leads to car dealerships. And then CL did it's thing on that...So now I'm here currently in the trial phases of the next big venture :)

As long as you devote enough extra time to it and stay consistent you should be able to keep expanding.
I met this person who is a member of this website. We became good friends through Facebook and he soon told me about Fiverr. At that time (about two years ago) I was still working in an office. I opened an account in Fiverr as an article writer and manual bookmarking vendor. Somebody bought the gigs and left good reviews and after that there was no turning back. I am still working in an office but I now have extra cash writing articles. I am trying to do other things but so far I have had no time to really concentrate on it.

In 1991 I made my first couple of quid, so in todays money around $4 or $5 dollars. In the days of dial up (AOL, Compuserv and the like) I put together and ran a BBS on my home computer (I think it was an IBM PS2 SX55 or possibly some home made thing cobbled together with old parts I got from places, my memory isn't so hot!).

Got into the right circles, had sort of a donation system a bit like BHW where people could get to hidden areas of the BBS to do whatever they needed to do in a 'sharing' way for a couple of quid, big money back then ;)

Was a brilliant system back in the day, had a few phone lines going into my room and quite a few happy clients (along with a short waiting list!!)

Ah, I miss them days!

through pay per call but made nothing overall, it still feels good when you're like omg i actually made something.

Yeah things have changed alright. My favorite was when the ffa sites were big because I just had to take 1 day to post my add to a bunch of them and within a week or 2 I would start seeing the Checks and Money Orders start coming in. I wish I wasn't a lazy kid back then and posted everyday like I should have.
1993, I sold a directory of cool, must know about websites as an email list promoted on BBS and newsgroups. Yahoo opened up a year later and put me out of business. Took an absence of a few years and started back up doing some things locally but did not make any real money online again until Google Content Targeting Advertising came out (now called Adsense) with MFA autoblog farm hosted on a local university (that I never attended) computer center.

A lot has changed... huh. None of this would work today!

$47 by selling my first software product.

Where?

On this very forum :)

That's pretty good when most of the courses out there tell you that you need 100's or even 1000's of ebooks to make money.
I made 3-4 Kindle eBooks and generated $114 after Tax.

$200 is a nice start. 1 reason people fail on here is because they waste the money they do make instead of reinvesting it back into the business.
2009, made $200 from e-whoring. Then hooked up on IM ever since.

2006-2007. Started on DigitalPoint Forums. Got paid $0.1 per post to post on various forums around the net.

i earned 5$ for selling accounts. this is my first earn , the next day i got 85$ for that next account making order.

I made my first dollar with adsense almost 10 years ago.

P.S
I've been banned on AdSense for around 8 years now.

Very nice. What kind of writing do you do? I hope one of the things is writing for you own blog/site.
My first $1 was made via another forum for work at home moms. Someone provided me with writing work back in 2011 and I made $50 off it. Since then I have been writing online full time and each month holds surprises.
