When did "Newbies" get so .....

Forum authorities should be less hesitant to ban people unmercifully. I believe there needs to be a purge. Just go through threads and ban anybody who says something stupid. They can go back to DP or WoFo and learn more and then come back when they've matured.

What's to say that you're not a newbie too? Do you think that since you have a journey thread and you're cocky and insulting that this makes you any more professional?

You may not be a newbie in some fields, but everyone is a newbie at something. Like what do you know about Aerospace engineering? I bet you wouldn't know the first thing. Ok.. maybe that's a bit out of the scope of this forum. But hey... you've already admitted you're a newbie at programming. So if you're ever making threads asking questions about programming, be sure that you'll see me there ridiculing you for not knowing your stuff.

This post is just dumb.

Of course everyone is a newbie at something that is not their chosen field or whatever. It's the laziness of not going out and doing your own research, rather than ask questions that are pretty much laid out for you in a past thread or whatever, is the reason people get ticked. I have mentioned this in the past, but when I first came to BHW, it took me a little while to start ask questions about BH stuff. Why? Because I was reading the tons of golden info that was already posted in the past.

After that, if I STILL didn't find the answer I needed, THEN I would ask.

Again, it's just people being lazy, and posting questions without even trying to find it through what's been posted already, pisses people off.

Yeah, it is very annoying when people don't even bother reading a thread. But if you look at Darren's journey thread he is insulting people left and right for different reasons than you mentioned.

And stupid little stuff like assuming everyone is a newbie, and talking down to people like "Do NOT come in here and say it doesn't work" yet he's doing the same thing to other peoples threads. There's better ways to deal with people.

I don't think OP meant "OH BUNCH OF NAABS EVERYWHERE" but rather that nowadays people do not even try looking before asking a simple question. It is Ok to be a noob and to ask stupid questions sometimes but doing a little research never hurt.

Problems might be due to the fact that a lot of those newbs are in an age range of 13-17, I'm not saying that every of them is like that but something changed with the internet where everyone spoonfeed you. Yahoo answers etc.. Those kind of sites are popular for a reason.

When I was a kid I hated the way my parents always let me experience stuff like my father teaching me mechanics on a moped and just basically gave me tools, a book and watchin me with a beer in hand not giving a single fuck unless I planned to ride it and stopped from doing so otherwise I would have blew up because I did it wrong and dismantling it to make me redo it again. Education maybe, I'm not that old I'm 22 but sometimes I really think there is a huge gap between me and younger folks.

OP is right about dumb questions in his thread though I did one of his method I banked it's not like I did everything right but at least I experienced. Saw some in the thread being like wow such method, much $$$ but won't do it.

Well I could have also failed but hopefully I banked. The method wasn't rocket science but was explained well enough to be done, just like your new one with apps. I just did it and it worked so I'm happy maybe I do less than I should because I'm not on flippa but I'm the only one where I promote it so I have a pool of 25k clients for myself ( minus the ones who don't care :D )
 
My opinion is that all noobs should be FORCED to read the sticky posts. The useful posts that teach them the basics, at least then they'll be filled with questions of substance. There are so many good sticky threads for noobs. they NEED to read them.
 
Don't waste time here, that's my advice for you. This place is almost run by 3rd worlders, the stupidity has shot through the roof, so unbearable. I occasionally visit this place to troll and post crap just out of boredom.
 
It looks like your journey thread or whatever post you made just got deleted. But what a crock of BS. Why are you still here disrespecting the mods then? Because you're better than everyone else? Yet, in your journey you're making jack ****. And your methods? I don't have time to read through a bunch of posts to verify, but considering your asking for help with "your method" on other peoples threads, it sounds like "your method" is one that you're just copying from someone elses thread.

A long time ago, the people used to do an everyday ritual to solve misteries and understand the problems they faced. Right now that ritual stills alive thanks to those who grew up in that time, that ritual is called by old people like me as READING.

I'm 28, and we must be patience, it's quite hard for people who got used to YouTube and the social networks to explore the world of ''READING'', it's really hard for them to spend hours reading trying to learn when they grew up just watching videotutorials( the interested ones, many of them don't even want to do that),or getting information from the resources we have today.
 
The Blackhat section really changed imo over the last few months, so many threads could be just answered by a quick g00gle or forum search, not to speak about the "whut is the best meth0d?!!" threads etc. Whats even worse, that these threads made many awesome members stop posting there at all. Hence you rarely see a new very good thread or guide, so more good posters stop posting while more newbies keep asking their stupid questions (just for clarification: of course not all of the newbies are creating dumb threads, you have also many that really want to learn and just need a little help).

Imo the blackhat subforum needs a newbie section, where all the dumb threads are moved. Otherwise I think the quality will get lower and lower.

A low rep won't stop someone from starting another dumb thread. It's a huge forum, dumb people are always going to be part of it. There's no fix for it unless you want to cleanse the gene pool.

The truth is that many of these people you label as dumb are just newcomers who don't understand they are not allowed to ask questions that most of us know the answer to. They do not understand they will get flamed for asking them. they think that this forum is where they can find the answers they are looking for. We have all been there do not deny this. Some people are obviously brighter then others and learn faster. Such is life.

I am not sure if in the rules of the forum it is stated that you can't ask questions that are deemed "stupid questions" by the community but even if it is there in the rules most people do not study the rules or even read them. I know it gets annoying to have to answer these type questions but everyone does have the option of just ignoring these type questions instead of insulting some poor soul and making them feel like shit. You know what I mean hatemachine?

I agree with you but it is frustrating when people don't do basic searches or query Google.
Some will even continue to ask when it has been suggested to spend some time reading and searching, sometimes even waiting a few days and starting another thread asking the same question.
Then when you do help them, they disappear and you never see them again lol.
I don't mind helping genuine people but sometimes I get the feeling some people ask questions just for the sake of it and they have no real intention of taking any action.
I don't mind stupid questions if the asker has at least attempted to find the answer, we were all new to this at one point.
