When choosing a backlink, should you focus more on relevance or DA?

Yes you can purchase a backlink. But make sure to check 2 things of the website from where you are purchasing it.
1) The Domain Authority, and
2) The backlink profile of the website
If the backlink profile of the website you are buying a link from is spammy then you should not buy backlinks from them even if the domain authority is high.

1. relevant backlinks for your niche. If you have Car site, get backlinks from automotive industry and not pets websites.
2. then focus on DA.
3. once you get many relevant backlinks + DA backlinks from your niche, then, try to dilute some backlinks from other niche, like pets website. Keep it somewhere between 2:8 ratio. 2 (non-niche backlinks, for 8 niche related backlinks)
