My question is what is your strategy for finding and vetting people that are legitimate? Do you rely on certain websites, interview questions, word of mouth, or something else? How do you verify their experience?

Obviously there are ways to fool people, but what do you do to mitigate scammers, time-wasters, or inexperienced workers?

One question I have about hiring from BHW, is you need to be a Jr VIP to post in Hire a Freelancer, right? So I'd obviously need to create more posts before I can do that. But, are there ways to find potential people in the meantime? Or should I just focus on building up my account and waiting until I reach the minimum threshold?

There is no structured VA hiring process in India. There is no desire or culture of working as VA. Have you seen anyone inspiring to be a VA?
Everyone wants a full time job with job security no matter what the salary is. You cant get that by working as a VA.
