Google keeps emphasizing E-E-A-T, but no one agrees on how to apply it. What steps do you take to prove experience and trustworthiness in content?

I’ve tried adding a human element to my content, like clearly identifying the author, sharing real-life experiences, or citing reputable sources. This helps Google better understand the level of expertise and trustworthiness of the page.

I focus on adding real examples, expert quotes, and linking to trusted sources. Also, I make sure the author bio shows experience - it helps build trust with both readers and Google.

First of all it needs to come from an already expert people google knows exist.

Yes you can fake it but it takes some time and patience.

You just need to be consistant in niche, name and tone of writing. This is what I know.

Oh, that's quite an interesting topic!

If you have zero proven experience with the topic and need to boil a stone soup, start from participating like co-authorship. Putting your name into authors collective is the best starting point. Also, answer relevant questions on Quora, comment on Reddit, and your personal trustworthiness will climb quite fast.

Gather all the links with explanations of your contribution (real or fake, it doesn't matter) on a specific page which I call Credibility Hub. Always put the link to this page into your bio under the content you're posting.

For non-YMYL verticals, I can build credibility from zero to maybe 9/10 in two months. For YMYL — in three. What's really challenging is make it in scientific topics.

The strongest credibility-building activity I've found is the authorship of a pillar cluster.

I always cite my sources and link to authoritative references - builds trust fast.

I emphasize direct knowledge include reliable sources and keep the writing clear and helpful. Consistent accuracy and clear author credibility signals effectively help meet the E-E-A-t standard. Showing readers real expertise and value naturally increases credibility.

I make my content feel more authentic by mentioning the writer, including real experiences, and referencing reliable sources. This approach helps search engines recognize the page’s credibility and expertise.
