What's your motivation?

Freedom.
To have the real freedom, you must be financially independent first. Then you have the time to do anything, be anyone.

mainly money, every morning waking up and seeing that fresh money in account keeps me going.

I was never cut out for 9 to 5. I want to escape the rat race and work in my slippers!

I have always wanted to be independent and not work under anybody, so that's my motivation.

Actually, I should thank them for leaving me as it forced me to self-evaluate and fine-tune my character/personality to become even awesome person than who I were. At the end, I came to the conclusion that the problem is not with them but me for picking up a mentally disordered person than a healthy individual. It stems to my helping tendency to rescue the peoples who're suffering and I thought I'm the white in Shining Armour. When I shifted all my focus from them to my business, I'm seeing great results with my clients cos who else don't like awesome customer support and after sales service?

As they say, Living well is the best revenge and I'm living it at the moment! Feels like a 100 Ton weight is lifted from my heart.

I recently exited a poisonous relationship as well, where I was giving everything with nothing or little return on my efforts. After two years, I felt like I was sipping water from the ocean. At the end of the day, I started thinking more about myself and not the other way around. It takes some pain to start valuing yourself more than the others. Now, I believe that the most important thing is to make yourself FIRST, above all, because if not you, nobody will make you their first priority. Moreover, this taught me that I should be confident about who I am and what I have to offer, and if they value it, they will stick with you. If not, you're just making room for another person.

Yeah its pretty accurate. You know what the funny thing is? It always happens when you think everything is going great. And then suddenly... BAM everything just goes down the shitter...literally. Very unpleasant, some people commit suicide over that just because they can't take it. But honestly, i think every person is gonna go through that. At some point in life you will recieve such a slap in the face and hopefully you will wake up from it... I did...

@Heiko, you're right with the part where everyone needs to pass this through in their life. I think that God sends people to our lives so that we can learn from them. The human mind absorbs experiences better than information and that's how you learn. So, I guess, every person comes into our lives to teach us something.

Yeah. In my mind everything happens for a reason. That girl that came into your life, was there to make you into a better man. When she leaves you and you accept it willingly, then you open up the space for someone that is even better. The first couple of months feel extremely difficult and i promise you that not everyone will make it through it. But the fact that you are working on yourself just shows how tough you are. Man, everyone wants to be like us. They just lack the courage and the motivation to do it. We both should be excited for whats coming in the next couple of months. No matter what the fuck gets thrown onto us. We crush it and move on.
So true :)

My 4 months old daughter :) I want to work hard in order to make her life safe and happy and I don’t want to be only a stay-at-home mom

Fantastic! Pat yourself on the back for realizing that you were in a toxic relationship and actually leaving it. You'd be surprised how many people will settle for a mediocre relationship just because of the human fear of being alone for the rest of their life and rather stay in that toxic relationship. They hinder their own success from happening by hanging onto something that has to dissolve. No matter how hard it is. Yes you are absolutely right with the mindset of "myself first". A slight bit of narcissm is never wrong, because if you don't take care of you first then you invite others to jerk you around.

And always remember, you are the captain of your ship and you have to participate in your own rescue.

Good luck ya'll - We are all on a great track

A new client per day motivates me to move forward and do something unique for my work.

I always curious for my work, I always think how I can give satisfaction to my client and put efforts for this.

True, narcissism helps a lot in certain situations. Well, I realised that it was toxic, but couldn't finish it for almost two years, before realising how much efforts i've put into something that's not worth at all. At the end of the day, our well-being and businesses must be first priorities. From there on, the right person will stick with you in good or bad.

Like some have said, it's all about the bills and living in the end.

I want freedom.

I work at a shitty job that hardly pays my bils and I dropped out of college because I couldnt afford it. Everyone around me thinks I have failed at life because I dropped out but I havr bigger dreams for myself than working a 9 to 5 job.

I want free time and money. I love creating videos and telling stories from them, making people feel. But in order to create I need money that my shitty job doesn't give me.

My only hope is IM to make it. ☺

Pretty honorable how most of you guys do it because of family or your own ambitions.
