what's your basic SEO tool stack?

I had keep my SEO toolkit pretty simple. Google Search Console for rankings and indexing. Ahrefs for keywords and backlink research. Screaming Frog for technical SEO checks. Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights for traffic and performance.

GSC, Google Sheets, AHrefs, ScreamingFrog/BeamUsUp & a few custom made tools for analytics.

We go by the KISS principle.

not looking for a huge list just curious which few tools you're actually keep if you had to cut everything else.
Google search console, Google keyword Planner. Page speed insights, semrush/ Ahrefs , Google analytics, theses are essentially and important tools for SEO i think .

For me just GSC, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog. GSC for site data, Ahrefs for links and competitors, and Screaming Frog for technical checks.

I usually keep it simple with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and a keyword research tool. These cover most of the basics without needing too many tools.
same here tbh, too many tools usually mean just more tabs and noise. GSC analytics cover most checks.

ahrefs and screaming Frog pretty much does the trick, anything else was simply superfluous, IMHO.

almost the same suite here too. GSC reveals the reality, Ahrefs plugs the missing link/competition information, and Screaming Frog picks up the technicalities.
Yeah, pretty much. I have Found that keeping the stack small also makes it easier to focus on what the data is actually telling you

I would simply keep Google Search Console for tracking the actual performance and technical health, and second is Semrush for keyword research.

For keywords and SERP analysis, Semrush for deep technical crawling, Screaming Frog; and for scraping in bulk, a hosted scraper. That was all I use, actually.

For me, Google Search Console and Ahrefs are non-negotiable. Add Screaming Frog for technical audits, and that's pretty much all you need for a solid core setup.

One thing I find interesting is testing changes to internal linking rather than focusing only on backlinks. It can be useful to compare impressions and clicks before and after the change.

i'd keep GSC a crawler and a backlink tool the exact brands matter less than actually using the data.

If I had to keep only a few for SEO, I’d stick with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog. That covers keywords, backlinks, traffic, and technical SEO.

I've been using SEMRush for a month or so now and really enjoyed it for a lot of the deep keyword scraping. It's API & AI Connectors also work quite smooth, the only downside is the cost compared to other SEO tools.

I think Google Search Console Ahrefs and Screaming Frog are enough. Google Search Console for rankings, Ahrefs for keywords, Screaming Frog for technical. These tools help to see the performance of the website, find technical SEO issues and check backlinks. In my opinion, more important than having a lot of tools is understanding their data properly.

Yeah, I guess that would cover all the basic elements, tbh. For measuring actual search performance, I would rely on GSC data and Ahrefs for competitor analysis because the traffic figures are just estimates,
