What title says, trying to find a way to keep a constant conversion, one month I have 9.5% the other 3.5%.

Between 2 and 6 percent over the month

Some days it's stupidly high (40% + )

If it was a consistent 5% I would be happy

I try and look at quarterly averages so I don't overly obsess about fluctuations. On Amazon Canada my conversion can be from 5% to 23% but averages out to 14% per quarter. The US Amazon site is between 5% and 12 % conversion but averages around 8.5% conversion.

I'm not sure if I've found a way to keep the conversion rate constant but, by looking at 3 month averages instead of the monthly or weekly changes, it prevents a few bad weeks or a bad month of conversions from causing too much nausea.

Look at the big picture.

That's some insane conversion, any tips =)?

My newest niche site is at 28% right now. Only operating since Q3 of this year though.

Proper placement of Aff links, Amazon buttons, and a good theme that keeps your viewers clicking around until they find a relevant item. If they don't buy the item you've written a review on, they'll probably end up on Amazon buying something related.

Obviously, you don't want them to get too lost, but if your site is well organized and ranking for long tails that are purchase ready keywords, you're gonna have a good time.

Having a lot of well structured content really helps. (i.e. Table of Content, bullets/lists) Then, recycling your content through "list" posts, giving the users plenty of options that convince them to make a purchase.

I see a lot of top Affiliate guys hitting 25-40% consistently. Sounds ridiculous, but when you get the hang of it, it's definitely possible. Especially if your copy is great and your niche isn't over-saturated/generic.

Between 3 and 10% ...
Fact is : my convrate was really better when i was only ranking for long tail keywords with buying intent, i am now ranking for a really wide range of terms so my convrate dropped but i earn more as i've got far more traffic.

This is the biggest thing that a lot of new affiliate marketers miss. Long Tails with Buying Intent. For instance, some guys forget that "best smoothie recipes" is not the same buying intent as "best blenders". Obviously an informative post like "smoothie receipes" provides value, but doesn't have the same buying intent.

Although, as you scale and create value in your niche, it gets harder to target those specific long tails.

But, you can always go back to those specific posts and improve the quality of the content. Let's say it was a 1000 word article before with 3 images..Maybe you can bump it to 2000 words and add an info-graphic? Then, re-submit in Google Search Console.

If you're making more money from increased traffic, obviously you're doing something right already.
