I'm surprised to see a lot of similar posts in here.

I have a brand, it was active on instagram I was posting everyday and almost boosting all the content I shared to reach more people.

My account was disabled, I appealed with ID verification but it seems like account is gone for good today.

I was spending around 1000$ every day for boosting on that account, should I call my bank for a chargeback? I couldn't find a way to contact support on IG.

Is there a way to get my account back? If not what you guys are doing? Should I reallocate my budget to Tiktok?

Thanks,

Don’t chargeback unless you’re done with meta, it’ll usually kill any chance of recovery.

account likely gone. happens a lot with heavy boosting patterns
rebuild fresh and diversify. tiktok good for reach but needs native style content. split budget, test before scaling

Instagram bans usually come from sudden activity spikes, aggressive boosting, IP/device changes, or content triggering policy flags. A lot of it seems automated now, and there’s been a wave of bans recently, so even legit accounts are getting caught.

Since you already appealed, not much to do except wait or try again if the option shows up. I’d be careful with chargebacks, because it can affect your ad account. If it’s gone, best move is to diversify with a new IG account and maybe TikTok, so you’re not relying on one platform.

I wouldn’t do a chargeback, since it can cause problems if you want to run ads again later. If the appeal is already rejected, it’s unlikely you’ll get the account back. You can try Meta ads support, but it’s not guaranteed. Going forward, it’s better to spread your budget across platforms like TikTok and not rely only on IG, and if you restart, just take it slow at the beginning.

It usually happens when the account activity looks too aggressive, like heavy boosting or patterns that seem automated, even if you’re spending money. Once it’s fully disabled, getting it back is pretty rare unless the appeal works, and doing a chargeback can create issues later.

The best option is to start fresh, take it slow, & not go too hard in the beginning.

Losing a main account like that is frustrating, especially after investing heavily in it. Before thinking about chargebacks, it’s usually better to explore every possible recovery angle first, since banking disputes can sometimes complicate things further.

What was the reason your account was banned? If you want to appeal to support, you need to find out the exact reason.

Most bans now come from automation flags or mass reports mixed with ad activity spikes. Chargeback can make things worse and burn your payment profile with Meta. Better to warm up a new account slower and never depend on one platform only.

I believe that IG's algorithm has changed and became stricter, hence the account bans. I'm afraid that you can do nothing else about your ban, since you've already appealed and the support didn't give you a solution. Lastly you should aim to allocate some of your budget to TikTok and other social media platforms in order to diversify your traffic streams.

They keep doing bans in waves now there has been a wave going on for suspensions and bans and normal day to day ig users are getting targeted and getting bans. There is no specific reason for the bans the Algo is acting funny and banning legit accounts.

All in for the chargeback, if you want more ads in the future you can use a different account. Only problem is that it probably won't happen, don't think they do chargebacks like that...
