Just trying to get an idea of the difference between building a standard but passable web20 & a high quality web20 to link to a main website. I don't expect any real examples to be given but some guidance on what to aim for and to set a budget per web20 not including backlinks.

I have in my head as a "standard" being the main 3-4 pages, a video and some images, linking to relevant pages on the web20 and to the money site with anchor text.

Thanks

High quality means which have a good Authority like 90+ like wordpress, tumblr, blogger. These blogs helps in passing good Authority to the main website.

And there are many standard web 2.0s also, which hardly gets indexed and pass the link juice to the money site. These are having less DA/PA.

So, if you are going to use the standard web 2.0s, make sure to get them indexed and thinking of adding images, videos, Authority links, interlinking with each posts might can work well.

High quality it means that it will pass a human review, so logo, important pages, multiple posts and multiple updates etc
thanks, sorry what do mean by "multiple updates"

My opinion might be a bit different from the answers above.
You understand that web2 basically make money by selling hosting plans so your free site makes no money for them.
High quality are the ones who will not delete you blog if you don't pay for it like 3 months later (there are plenty of web2 which will delete your blog after some time) but blogger and tumblr as an example will most likely keep your blogs if you update them like once a year.

so if your not paying them and using there domain hosting it's goodbye after a period of time. Just blogger and tumblr ok looks like I need mostly those then if thats the case. Thanks I'll look to see who sells here.

It's not easy at all to create a high quality Web 2.0. Aside from the content itself, which should be treated as a regular blog, the metrics of those properties should be good as well: whether it's DA, TF or PA. I'd say TF and DA are the most important ones.

Also, if you're going for expired ones and not creating from scratch, try to analyze the backlink profile properly. You'd find golden gems with relevant links to your niche from high authority websites. I sometimes stumble upon accounts with backlinks from BBC and authority news sites. Yup, these accounts exist. If you put in the work, you'll come across golden nuggets.

If you create ones from scratch, it would cost you more money and effort to reach that level.
That's just my two cents on the matter.

It is mine, yes.
I can't really advertise here since it's against the rules... I don't have an active BST on the forum.
You can check the sellers here if you'd like.

not only tumblr and blogger... with wordpress.com, you're fine as well... you just need to test them.

Have you ever come across expired Wordpress blogs? I've tried before and it was completely unsuccessful.

Tried and miserably failed :( tried blogspot as well... failed.
I can only find decent expired tumblrs.

That's why I'm trying to get like 100 expired tumblrs (I only use niche relevant ones as they are from my niche and I can re-use their content)... so far I have about 20.

Main difference would be content and web 2.0 design. You need to edit the template a bit and avoid spun articles

High quality is not dependent on the number of pages. The true test is if you stumbled across it, you would read the entire article and perhaps even bookmark it

High quality web 2.0 they have high authority and regular post and maximum gets indexed

Thanks for all responses lads gave me a good mindset going forward of what to aim for. Appreciated.

It's already probably been said but the answer to that question is highly subjective and will be likely to very widely depending on who you ask.

IMO it is a grossly overused descriptor Used by marketplace sellers to enhance the effectiveness of their listing, and in the context cuz most such listings that you might find on SEO clerks or Fiverr, it means little to nothing. The bargain basement sellers (typically from third world countries) typically equate high quality with high DA PA, and the quality control usually stops there.

That that being said, I would say the standard Web 2.0 would be just your bare bones Web 2.0 property such as weedly, wordpress, blogger, etc with one article and a link as well as perhaps a profile picture cooked into it.

High quality Web 2.0 on the other hand, would look much more like a full-fledged money site website it would contain multiple postings, all on the same topic of course that are full of actual valuable content and very well written in formatted with images and videos where appropriatea contact page for complete native citation information, privacy policy, gdpr, terms of service, a fully completed
profile, linked social media accounts (minimum 2) and and about page with substantial content about the "author" (in this case a believable pen name). In other words anyone coming across the site would not be immediately suspicious of it being anything other than a legitimate site...

Hope that helps
