xrumer still beats all the public backlink tools that you see around, but you have to know how to use it and not just wildly blast the default lists with default config.. you can hit almost any platform with it. well ok there are some that don't work well like drupal, but thats a platform that all tools besides drupaliciousbot struggle with. aside of that, it has a very good OCR engine and can solve recaptcha internally (aside of the new recaptcha-nocaptcha i belive).. many people belive its just for forums/profiles, however thats not true at all. anyways it has so many advanced features that most if not all other backlinking tools lack, so its still the top public backlinking tool.
