Just because you know they make money doesn't mean you will if you copy them, maybe they got better marketing skill and a bigger budget.Let's say there are 2 shopify stores that I know for sure are making $2k-10k per month and I can see all their products and traffic sources.
What would you do in this situation? make something similar or copy them or what?
On one hand I think it's a douche bag move
Is it though?
Don't we reverse engineer all the time to see what the competition is doing so we can get a leg up on them and then replicate and increase our {links|posts|you name it} to {out rank|kick their backsides}?
I'd replicate the sites, increase the value being offered, out do them on their traffic sources and then have my wife spend the earnings.
It's a clothing niche, so I am thinking of offering the same type of designs to the same audience so I won't be copying his products but just a similar brand overall. Is it though?

I guess, that's why I said on the other hand it's business, no room for formalitiesIs it though?
