I live in a country where the currency can fall any day, like the Egyptian pound lost 20% of its value in one day.
I need to keep having cash for the next few months. What would you do?
I'm thinking of buying some Euros and US Dollars.

Instead of buying hard cash US dollars, why not buy USDT and store it in a decentralized wallet such as Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet, Exodus Wallet.
Remember, NEVER under any circumstances whatsoever should you share the private keys or the pass phrases of your crypto wallet with anyone. NEVER.

i just dig a hole in the backyard and bury it.
Just make sure you remember where later.

No crypto for now.. so many restrictions here.
Euros and US Dollars seems to be a smart choice to keep your cash more stable
I hope they stay at their levels

this way, they will steal 20% of it in front of my eyes :D

As funny as that made me laugh was, I would best love to think that it was a metaphor for some complexly simple business idea and interpretation of google that makes a nice amount of dough for you! :)

We actually keep a little bit of cash in different areas in our houses.

I don't dig holes but holes are great safes.

Nobody robs your home by digging up your backyard and nobody goes to areas where it makes no sense to keep cash.

Outside the box if you are keeping cash you should do ~Yoda.

USD and Euro are pretty jumpy recently, but it's definitely better to hold those than a currency that might just go down 20% or more in a single day.

If it’s hard to get into crypto . A good alternative would be buying commodities; Gold bars .

Funny little story about that.

Ages ago I was accumulating silver bars and had an entire suitcase full of them. I do not remember the value but I do remember it was too heavy for my wife to even pick up.

Our home got burglarized and the did not even touch the suitcase as it was an old ragged suitcase.

It was like I dug a hole in the backyard and hid money there.

Bad advice. What if those decentralized wallets collapse? Let him buy cold hard cash which can be accessed in a moment's notice instead of having to convert Stablecoins back to Fiat again.

Just don't hide it in a bag... and then later sell the bag without checking the pockets! Big mistake!

There is a Buddha saying that spirituality link buying gold to attracting wealth. if you would love to acquire more wealth just keep buying golds. Alternatively, I see gold as hedge against the government fiat money.

BTW - Happy New Year BTB.

You can buy silver and gold...

If you're iranian,or a country like that, the best option for you is buying wholesale some products that you think you can sell it later, so that your money is up to date value + you'll get some profits
Because world economy is very unstable these days, specially for a country that the currency drop 20% ,and buying other currencies and gold is risky,
If you don't want buy/sell product, go for gold bar or used gold ,But it can drop too
