In general, billboards are best for restaurants and shops. Ask yourself if someone needs more than a few seconds to understand your business. If so, it's probably not worth it. Though, you can also try reselling it for a profit.

Billboards are good for local offline businesses and door delivery apps. You can use them if you have shops or middleman services.

Lol, I actually thought about publishing my CV on a billboard when I'm looking for a job. Would that be a good thing? I work in finance, something tells me that some people would not see that as a good thing for their imageJust for fun I would impress them with some explanations as well as a website address and why they should enter this site

Anything different attracts attention. Doing something out of the ordinary can always make a good impression. Never know until you try.

Advertise an advertising opportunity, include your phone number and then resell the same space for $150 or 200 per month

Do that and then send pictures of it from different angles to multiple local & country wide news outlets. Eventually one of them will find it interesting enough to give you some free publicity.

Not to make fun of the country or anything but Chad is one of the poorest countries in the world, hence the reason for it being such a low price. Especially if this Billboard is located in a more rural area it would be hard to make your money back. I'd go with re-selling the Adspace as well or just not buying it. I don't see the value in it.

Yes Chad is in the top 5 poorest countries.
The thing is that the billboard is on one of the most used roads, at one of the most popular crossroads in the capital city. I actually think that it's a SUPER wise investment if the right product is placed.
The way Madison square and Central park are popular in New York, that's how popular that crossroad is.

These days, if you are in the right type of traffic, you could advert almost anything. Sure, maybe traditionally it's resto's or hotels, or tourist shops, but the economy in Africa is different (e.g. just even think about all the micro-transaction by cellphone that have been common for years). If you're in a traffic jam zone, I think you could even put a big QR code that people could scan, for whatever reason. Idk, promoting an app or other link you need to scan quickly in a car, that is easier than driving. It can even be used later if it's taken in a photo, not just in a live QR scan. I wish I had some more specific use case, but I think Africa is a special situation with different ideas and scenarios that "the west" (where I'm from) doesn't get to experience.

For example, autonomous vehicles (e.g. Tesla) scan the road for whatever is in your environment. Maybe there's some hack for Tesla scanning the street that will display some advert on the interior vehicle display that is applicable to California (lot's of Tesla vehicles), but in Africa it's something else (i.e. my favourite Ghana is not the same as Namibia or Rwanda or Ethiopia). I'm curious to know, what's popular over there from your experience, OP?
