I launched a quotes website recently which do have hundreds of posts. So, its really hard to build links on each post.

I am currently following a silo structure, so let’s say my website have 3 different categories. Following are those categories

1. Love Quotes
2. Life Quotes
3. Motivational Quotes

As I said earlier I am following a silo structure so , this is how my permalink structure looks like:

For “Love Quotes” it looks like this:
http://domain.com/love-quotes/post-1/
For “Life Quotes” it looks like this:
http://domain.com/life-quotes/post-1/
For “Motivational Quotes” it looks like this:
http://domain.com/motivational-quotes/post-1/
As I am having hundreds of post in each category, I think it would be wise to create backlinks for the silo page.

So, instead of creating links for individual pages I would be creating links for the silo pages.

Would this pass link juice to all the pages and help the posts to rank?

I would love to hear your take on this. This is for the first time I am working on such website so need some expert advice.

Thanks!

Yep. I would optimize those silo pages.

And yes, juice would flow from those pages to individual posts.

The problem with large websites that tend to have thin content is that of keyword cannibalization. Try and focus on making each of those hub pages as unique as possible to avoid competing with yourself.

Thank you! That makes sense.

Yes mate, this will pass the link juice to other pages from those silo pages
Try building some internal links for the best pages that you consider.
Make your site appear clean and fresh with new content and use keywords wisely.
