I must resurrect this thread because it's good to look back at how far (or low) we've come. The retrospective (retrospect sounds off to me here) of our IM journey.
Dotsya's first niche was Retro Gaming.
Wrote about everything from the 1950s first oscilloscope game to the last days of the PSX. If I had only stuck with it I might have gotten pretty far because gaming has always been one of my biggest passions.
Some of Dotsya's knowledge: Did you know that back in the late 19th century when Nintendo was first founded, they made playing cards that were later used in gambling? How about the fact that they owned love hotels in the 1960s? Quite a far cry from the kid friendly themes you'd expect from their company today, lol.
I have since forgotten some stuff, but it was nice to learn so many things that I hadn't even considered; like how some guy who helped develop the atom bomb was also responsible for the creation of arguably the very first video game ever made; Tennis for Two on the oscilloscope.
I could write an eBook worth of information on anything game related. If only Dotsya knew of a way to turn it into a healthy profit.

Micro niche websites about mmorpgs + I was killing it with RMTing. Back in 2013 I made a fortune from PoE exalted orbs lol.

A year and a half ago I was doing that, but before I got a chance to sell my first batch of Orbs, my computer crashed and died. Goodnight sweet CPU and GPU. At the time, I took it as a sign from God not to do RMT, lol.
I still don't have a computer worthy of playing PoE.
