What version of photoshop are you using?

I Use cs6 :D but there is little difference between 5 and 6 apart from GUI
 
I've used both versions. Photoshop is Photoshop. Upgrade if it's cheap and convenient but if not, 5 works just fine.
 
Photoshop CC 2015
A lot of new function for app designing! And sure, they added Artboards like in Illustrator in this version.
 
CS6 is better, but me, like you, use to CS5, so If you are good at 5, stay there.
 
Probably the one off Piratebay with the most seeds.
 
Photoshop CC is amazing, best tool I ever used (and I've been doing graphic design for 8 years). Totally worth the money too, and you can create your own brushes, textures, everything. Illustrator is great too but like many said, a bit more advanced, and it's more for printing purposes rather than web design.
 
Currently use cs6, but cs5 has my preference. I am not a big fan of the image cropping in cs6.
 
I use Photoshop CC - I need a legal copy to be safe when someone asks because I run a small design company. I really like the CreativeCloud because you always get the latest updates and you can use 40 million stock photos for a monthly fee of 100?. That is usually paid off with the first order (a multipage brochure or small website)
